Subjective Subjects.

Always the writer, the wit, or the words - hardly did I know an entire world of artistry was waiting for me; only to find out just how subjective it all really was.

From photographs to photoshop - kinesthetic aesthetic on display - inspired by memories and lucid dreams; my abstract expression.
24 Artists for 24 Hours

24 artists creating for 24 straight hours - art built in adrenaline, exhaustion, and for everyone to see.  "The Cigarette Smokes Alone" was inspired by a combined love of fabrics, dirty habits, and the gutters of the Vancouver DTES.
Dirty Pop

"Dirty Pop" named directly after the art show, was inspired by the Pop art movement that emerged in the mid 1950's, combined with the then recent events of the BP operated Deepwater Horizon Spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
Surveilling Public Space

A collaboration with SFU and the VPSN, "I Thought it was our Little Secret" is a commentary on the increasing normalization of surveillance cameras in contemporary society through visceral and experiential understanding.
Beyond Wonderland

"I'm Late" was an Alice in Wonderland themed show through Box Studios, one of my first experimentations with the rarely understood craft of taxidermy, as well as a commentary on our dissociation of meat's inevitable death
Torment

A Kwanten University student project - the physical embodiment of the emotion torment.  Key components are inspired by claustrophobia, suffocation, earth worms, straightjackets, posture habits of depression, and crucifixion.
